We have gotten very sad news today. This is an email I got from Monica, our former East Bay Run Team Manger:
Brenda was admitted to John Muir Hospital (in Walnut Creek) on Monday as she had major difficulty in her breathing. Today, the doctors have decided to take her off her medication and she has been given 12-36 hours to live.
As you can imagine, this message is very hard for me to relay to each of you. I just know it would be Brenda's wish that each of you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers today. As she has said before, we help her stay strong and that is what we should continue to do.
